I think I saw some sweet Furry Armbands and Leggings too. Awesome!!! I wonder who will sample all the cool new dynamals first!!

What? We have more than one winner from each category? We here at MyDinos HQ thought everyone’s videos were so awesome, we decided to award 2000 shells to everyone who entered a movie into the contest. If you get a chance, you should watch the battles – there are some epic moments!

The Great Tiki is very happy about the videos everyone posted! We will announce the winners tomorrow, but there’s still time to post more videos for runner-up prizes…
We also have a new contest! Greyguy loves decorating his cave, but he loves seeing how other DinoScouts decorate their caves even more! So this week, we are announcing a brand new contest, for EVERY Dinoscout to participate.
Take a picture of your cave decorations and send it to support@mydinos.com or post it here on the blog. Greyguy and the rest of the MyDinos Developers will pick the top 3 caves and award them each a SPECIAL ITEM! – This is an item that’s only available for winners of the Cave Decoration Contest!
The deadline for contest entries is next Sunday, August 2nd, and we will announce the winners on Monday, August 3rd

We have good news and bad news, DinoScouts!
The bad news first – the server has to go down for about 30 minutes today at 12:30 PST.
The good news is – we’re taking the server down so we can add NEW BEACH GEAR! Surf’s up, DinoScouts!
The new store in the Lagoon sells all new beach clothing and furniture – plus there are beach themed items in the Quest Map stores. There may even be a new store hidden somewhere in Pirate Island that sells some tropical surprises…
Last but not least, certain NPCs may give out special items when you beat them – not just shells and healing items! We will be adding more special items to the mix later this week…
The new Field Guide is here! Click the DNA-shaped button to see just how well you have explored Pangaea and the timequests. You may see that you’ve missed a few secret Dynamals, checkpoints, or NPCs. Who has the highest DinoScout rank? Who has seen the most Dynamals? I guess we’ll find out soon…
DinoScouts may also notice a lot of Dynamals have had their Habitypes changed. Most only have one habitype now, and may learn more as they evolve. Don’t worry, they’re not weaker, but you may notice some of your team members are much more powerful when they battle Dynamals with different Habitypes. Experiment to find out which Habitypes are stronger!

We have some exciting news for all DinoScouts! A major update to the Field Guide is coming soon. DinoScouts will have new ways of tracking which Dynamals exist on each map. Everyone can start working on completing their Field Guide soon – maybe even this weekend! You might even find out that there are secret Dynamals hiding on some maps…
Sometime next week we’re introducing a special DinoScout Ranking! All this just in time for the next TimeQuest!
